INTRODUCTION

 


My first experience of knowing this program was informed by the head of my study program to join the program, I was interested in following it because I tried new things and explored how to teach in the Philippines through SEA TEACHER Batch 10. I followed the entire series and selection process from registration to two interviews, then I was declared and attended training for one month. 

SEA Teacher's main objective in student exchange is to provide prospective teachers from various universities in Southeast Asia with the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience in schools in other countries in the region. The program aims to develop teaching skills, enhance professional competencies, and broaden understanding of the cultures and education systems in different countries.

The purpose of participating in the sea teacher program : 

1. Gaining teaching experience, this program provides an opportunity for students to be directly involved in the learning process from developing learning strategies to implementing classroom activities

2. Developing soft skills, through interactions with students, teachers and school staff can improve communication skills, leadership and problem solving skills

3. Making a real contribution to strengthen the role of students in community service and help equalize education.

Benefit by participating in this program I can improve my abilities, especially in terms of teaching because the differences in language and teaching methods between Indonesia and the Philippines can be used as a very valuable experience.
